Thi Le, PDM


Dr. Thuy-Duong Thi Le is a member of the Washington Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatry Medical Association

Dr. Le grew up in Wichita, Kansas and received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Wichita State University in Kansas. She completed her medical studies at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University and then a residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami.

Dr. Le believes all her patients deserve the highest level of care. The physician and patient work together as a team to determine which treatment is best to ensure the highest level of care. She is passionate about helping people return back to their previous activities and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

She enjoys going to the beach or exploring the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, Dr. Le enjoys traveling with her family and chasing after her four children.


Born in Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Aufderheide attended Sylvania High School graduating in 1975.  Undergraduate education was at both Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and University of Toledo.  Medical training was completed at the Ohio College of podiatric medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, with externships at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Winston-Salem North Carolina, and North Lake Hospital in Chicago.  Residency training was completed at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

He began practice in Silverdale in 1984 and has been in private practice in Kitsap County since that time. 

Dr. Aufderheide was the first podiatrist to have staff privileges at Harrison Memorial Hospital in 1990.  He remains an active part of the medical staff and podiatry and orthopedics section.  A past president of the Washington State podiatric medical Association. Dr. Aufderheide also serves as a board member for paratransit services, serving Bremerton. Personal interests include both road and mountain biking, backpacking, skiing and sailing.  He has played trombone with the Bremerton Symphony, and plays in a less formal combo.
